"Okay, Katara has her stupid girl moments. Most girls do. But after 'The Desert'...could you handle what she handled? After Aang's explosive PMSing, a VERY HIGH lemur and her big brother, and a completely helpless Toph...I personally would have said 'F-U' and left their asses. But she showed so much maturity and love even to Aang who treated her so poorly at that point. I know Katara is stubborn, competitive, and at times irrational but if she didn't have flaws, honestly, she wouldn't be that great of a character and no one
would care.

At the beginning of the show, she was mean to her brother because
he was a sexist pig. I'd be mean too. I've been meaner to my brother for lesser reasons then that. Now, she's not being mean, she just teases him. Sokka knows this.

If you are talking recently about Katara's attitude to Zuko, keep in mind he's been trying to capture Aang for how long now? She's worried about Zuko betraying him. I think she has every reason. She's also been raised to be suspicious of Fire Nation people. But apparently, as we have seen in the previews, she's got past that point where she suspects Zuko and can hug him.

She's changed a whole hell of a lot."
